Vito Gelosi has been involved in coaching for 25yrs.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale,NJ.  He was a two sport athlete in Basketball and Tennis.  He played varsity basketball and was 2nd singles varsity as a freshman.  He then played 1st singles for thenext 3 years.  He was named captain and MVP for 3 yrs.  He was highly ranked in the Eastern Tennis Association from the age of 13 to 18 years old and traveled throughout the country to train and play in tournaments.    Vito attended Concordia College, an NCAAII Division School, located in Bronxville, NY.  Concordia participates in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).  Vito was a scholarship recipient for tennis and worked out with the college basketball team.  He was named captain of the tennis team freshman year and competed in the NCAAII regional finals in Kutztown University.  He currently resides in Toms River and is the coach of girls’ varsity basketball team and the tennis team for St. Joseph Grade School in Toms River, NJ.  Vito has two girls Victoria 14, and Alexandra 12 who are both 3 sport athletes and are involved in the Toms River StarZ basketball program.


Jim Conroy Jim Conroy currently coaches the Starz 5th grade team and has been coaching youth basketball for the past ten years. Jim coaches his three children in basketball and has coached TRBA since 2007, Jagz AAU boys basketball and St. Joseph's Grade School Varsity Boys and Girls teams. Jim resides with his wife, Colette, and their three children in Toms River, NJ and is a Detective with a law enforcement agency in Ocean County.

Bryan Madigan was a three year Basketball player at Toms River High School North. He was named MVP in both his junior and Senior year as well as the best defensive player in his senior year. Bryan received many athletic accolades throughout his athletic career. He continued his basketball career at East Stroudsburg University Division II Basketball Program. 

His coaching experience consists of Assistant Varsity and Junior Varsity for the Toms River North Boys Basketball Program from 1999-2004 under James Cleveland. He is currently a principal at Intermediate East Middle School. For the last four years, Bryan has been a volunteer coach for TRBA girls program. Bryan has 2 girls, Jordyn 9, and Mikayla 7 who are involved in athletics. 


Joe Bisogno Jr. has been involved with Toms River sports since 1977.  He is a graduate of Toms River High School North.  He was a three sport athlete in Football, Baseball and Basketball. He earned all county and all shore honors  in both Basketball and Baseball.  Joe was named to the Channel 8 Allstars in both Basketball and Baseball 2 yrs and named Defensive Player of the Year in 1987 as well as All Tournament team in the WOBM Christmas Classic in 1986 and 1987.  Joe was named MVP of the Ocean County Baseball Tournament in 1987.  He led his North team to two A South Championships in Basketball and Baseball.  Joe was awarded the prestigious Toms River Male Athlete of The Year in 1987.

Joe played college baseball and basketball at Lynchburg University.  He was named  Old Dominion Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year in baseball his freshman year and went on to earn All ODAC Conference three years in baseball.  He was invited to play with the Lynchburg Red Sox affiliate in 1991 but due to elbow and shoulder surgery his career abruptly ended.  Joe coached baseball at Lynchburg University after his surgery.
Joe currently resides in Toms River with his wife of 14 yrs Dawn and three children, Joey 12 and twin girls Noelle and Brielle 9.  He is the owner of JNB Investment Group and Aces High Casino Nights.  He currently coaches youth football, baseball and basketball for both boys and girls.  He is currently the Division leader of the TRBA Girls 3rd&4th grade division. He also is the head coach for the Frozen Ropes U12 travel baseball team.


Kim Peto, a former Division 1 scholarship basketball player for Rider University, is currently a 6th grade math and science teacher and soccer coach at Toms River Intermediate South and the Varsity Assistant Girl’s Basketball Coach at Toms River High School South. Born and raised in Toms River, NJ, Kim began playing basketball in 5th grade for TRGBL (Toms River Girl’s Basketball League).  She started out playing AAU for the Ocean County Shoreliners and continued her AAU career with the New Jersey Shorestars and Central Jersey Hawks. Kim attended Toms River High School North, where she was a 4 year varsity starter in both soccer and basketball.  In soccer, she was named to the Coaches All-State Team and All-County team, and in her senior season was named one of South Jersey’s top 20 players.  As a 1,000 point scorer and point guard on the basketball court, Kim led her team to four A-South championships, three WOBM Christmas Tournament championships, a South Jersey Group IV state title, and the overall Group IV State Championship.  She was named to the All-County, All-Shore and All-State teams throughout her career and in 2000, she was the MVP of the Group IV state tournament and named the Asbury Park Press Player of the Year.  Her team was ranked the #1 Public School team in the state of New Jersey in 1999-2000.  Kim holds the record for career assists at TRN with 550 assists. At Rider University, Kim was a two time member of the MAAC All-Academic team and a three year member of the Dean’s List.  Unfortunately, Kim was sidelined during her junior year due to a career ending back injury.  She remained on the team as a student assistant coach, where she learned a great deal about what it takes to be a coach!


Sandy (Bisogno) Madigan, a former Division I scholarship basketball player for Iona College, is the founder and owner of 3-2-1 Basketball Training and Athletes in Training, businesses based on a philosophy that includes an emphasis on unity, personal responsibility, intensity, work ethic and communication skills.  Born in Toms River, N.J., Sandy at a young age became a standout player at Intermediate East. She was and still is the only person boys or girls to be awarded the “Run for the Roses” MVP honor 2 years straight. Sandy attended Toms River High School North. She was a 4 year varsity starter in basketball and started varsity softball her freshman and sophomore years.  As a 1,000 point scorer at High School North, she won A South all four years, was Observer All County 4 years, Channel 8 All Star 4 years, all state honors, along with many more. She still holds records for most points in a game (40) and assists in a game (16) at High School North.Today, Sandy’s biggest accomplishments are her husband and 2 wonderful children. Her passion is to help young athletes learn the basic fundamentals of basketball, along with other competitive activities your child will encounter throughout his/her elementary years; while giving back to a sport and community that has been so good to her.
